kris or Adam?

This year season 8 had finished broadcasting in the U.S. The America decide their American Idol.

The final of season 8, there were Kris and Adam. They are both very great singers obviously, and they are completely different kinds of singers which made it funner for this season. Adam is a really ROCK singer, and on the contrast Kris is more POP kind of singer. At the final, they sang 3 songs. First song was their favorite song from the past performances, the next song was the song made just for them called "No Boundaries", and the last song was the judges picked up for them.

I think they both did an awesome job. I personally voted for Adam, because i had never seen such a perfect contestant in past seasons. So,who will be the next American Idol?

The result came. The America voted for KRIS!! He became the new American Idol.

I am sure that even though Adam could not be the Idol, he will be very popular. The reason why is because everybody knows that he is one awesome singer! This season was recognized as the hardest season ever, because there were so many great contestants! I actually loved all of them, and hope they will release a CD in the future!

David Cook

He was in the Season 7 and he became the 7th American Idol.

He tried out for an Idol because of his brother. His brother was trying out for an Idol, and he recommended David Cook to try out for it. So obviously he wouldn't be in the music industry, if his brother was not there. When I first heard him singing in the audition(Nebraska), I had a feeling that he will go to the final round, because he knows what kind of singer he is, and he does not change his music style.He just sticks with ROCK! I do not really listen to rock music, but every time he sang in the Idol, it got me a lot of interests on his performances. The reason is that he can sing whatever from soft rock to hard rock. That is the reason why I was looking forward to seeing him sing every week.One of my favorite performance from him is when he sang "The World I Know". He sang this song in the final, and I really liked it.

After the Idol, he released his first album called "David Cook".

The album includes his first single "Light On", and the song he sang at the final

called "Time of My Life". I really like both of the songs, but one of my favorite song

from this first album is "Avalanche". This song is rather a pop music than rock, but he can

sing whatever. The another song is called "Permanent". This song is very emotional song that

every time he sings on the TV, I get goosebumps! Hopefully, he will be able to come to Japan for

his concert sometime!

Jordan Sparks

She was the winner of the Season 6 which was 2 years ago.
When she tried out for an American Idol, she was only 16 years old.

However her great voice really impressed the judges.

She auditioned in Seattle, WA and sang "Because You Loved Me" by Celine Dion.

She made it through to the next round, and on of the judge Randy even predicted her to win.

Jordan Sparks made it to the final without being never in the bottom three, and she was one of the youngest idol they had ever had before. One of my favorite performance from her during season 6 was when she sang "If We Hold On Together" by Diana Ross.

After the idol, she released her first album, called "Jordan Sparks".

In that album, there is the song called "No Air" which became

really popular in the United States.

The song is a duet with the singer Chris Brown who is also very famous.

There is an another song which is "This Is My Now".

This song was made when she was in the final round of American Idol, and

the song became her first single.

My favorite song from this album is "Permanent Monday".

This song is about a girl missing her lover, and the day the lover left,

she calls it permanent Monday.

I think this song is very moving also it directly shows her great voice!
